Camp Summer Staff Application Process
Each summer, college and high school young people from around the country come together to work at Camp Heritage. Showing campers a clear picture of Jesus and leading them to a decision to follow Him is one of the best jobs a person could have. How cool that, in addition to learning new skills, being part of a supportive team and showing kids Jesus, our staff earn money toward their educational expenses.But you probably already knew all that…because you are looking at our Employment information! Read on for information to help you apply to work at camp.
Step 1:
Your application will be considered after applying online. Follow THIS LINK to Camp Heritage’s online regisration web site. After creating an account (or logging in if you already have an account), Choose MAKE A RESERVATION. You should see two options:
A. New Staff Application
B. Returning Staff Application.
B. Returning Staff Application.
If you worked at Camp Heritage last summer, you should select the Returning Staff Application. Otherwise, you should choose the New Staff Application. When you have completed the application, you should receive an email from the director, acknowledging receipt of your application.
Step 2:
As soon as possible, you should distribute the three RECOMMENDATION FORMS to the people who you listed as your references on your application. These people should fill out and return the recommendation forms to:

Step 3:
If you are selected for an interview, Denison Sager, the camp director, will be in contact with you to arrange a time for the interview. If you have not heard from Denison after a week, you should send an email to dsager@imsda.org requesting an update on your application.
Step 4:
If you are given a conditional job offer, you will need to fill out a Background Check Authorization, fill out a few additional forms and complete an online training course by Shield the Vulnerable (a program to help protect our campers and each other from sexual predators and abuse.) The Background Check Authorization form can be accessed on the UltraCamp site. The other forms will be mailed to you. The online training course will need to be completed by the provided deadline.
Camp Heritage employs approximately 35-40 summer camp staff. Thank you for your interest in joining our team!
